This section is for those who wish to enhance their sport or activity through the skills contained within the Inward Adventure experiences, or for whom a strong stretch is important.

All sports or activities will benefit from:-

  • Being more relaxed
  • Having optimum allignments
  • Clear focus
  • Strong intent
  • Deeper concentration
  • Mental clarity
  • Emotional stability
  • A detached awareness

The key elements of:

  •  stretching
  •  flexibility
  •  body alignments
  •  co-ordination
  •  core strength
  • emotional stability
  • mental clarity, focus and concentration

…. are all experienced, developed and incorporated into your skill-set tool-kit.
These skills enhance the feeling and enjoyment of your sport or activity.
They will help you to avoid injury and aid in healing if you become injured.

I have included a small selection of ones I have practiced and been involved with over the years. This means that I have learnt how to incorporate the above skills into these sports and activities and understand the physical and emotional demands they make on you.

These are:

  • Cycling
  • Walking
  • Running
  • Kayaking
  • Golf

The Stretch classes will emphasise these sports, as I can work more specifically with you, although they also cover a wide range of other activities. and sports.

I'm not a golfer though a good friend of mine is. He kept getting back pains so we applied the above concepts, with excellent results, hence I have included it.

My understanding of Bio-mechanics and Anatomy means that I can look at your posture and alignments and see where you out of balance.

Important!
I am not a Physiotherapist and so do not give deep and detailed advice on sports injuries or specific rehabilitation exercises, although I can see when something is wrong and point you in the right direction for specific treatment.

Although I am a PE teacher I wont delve too deeply into specific aspects of coaching or skills assessment.
